Volunteer Opportunities
At Bridges of Norman, we have opportunities for individuals and groups. If you have an idea of a way to serve that is not listed here, please contact us and we’ll see if we can make it happen. If you are interested in bringing a group, please call 405-579-9280.
Mentoring
Mentors are caring adults who help students navigate life and help them make decisions about their future.
Tutoring
Are you especially good at certain subjects? We could always use patient tutors who can help our students.
Driving
Drivers receive monthly emails where they can sign up for specific drives to take or pick up students from appointments.
Recycling
Pick up the cardboard and plastic recycling located under the stairs by our door and take to the recycling center every 1-2 weeks.
Landscaping
Enjoy yard/ landscape work? You can plantand/or water flowers, trim trees, or mow and help keep our place looking nice.
Minor Maintenance
Are you handy? We could use help with minor maintenance, like hanging blinds, and minor repairs to our property.
Babysitting
Babysitters watch little ones during our weekly Life Skills meetings on Tuesdays from 4;15-5:30 pm. Usually 1-2 kids.
Provide Meals
We provide students with a meal after each Tuesday Life Skills meeting. If you would like to make a meal (or buy one), let us know!
Office Help
Office volunteers help with filing, organization, sorting donations, and keeping up with the student pantry.
